Vacancy: SENIOR MR RADIOGRAPHER
The Cape Universities Body Imaging Centre (CUBIC) within the Faculty of Health Sciences seeks to employ a Senior MR Radiographer to conduct Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of research subjects, public and private patients on the 3T Siemens Skyra MRI located at Groote Schuur Hospital and to perform MR-related administration. The radiographer will function under the supervision of the Principal Technical Officer.

Requirements:
- B. Tech Radiography Diagnostic / National Diploma Radiography (Diag)
- Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Diagnostic Radiographer
- Three years’ experience as a practising MRI Radiographer
- Excellent customer service ethic and interpersonal skills
- Good communication (verbal and written) and organisational abilities
- Fluency in isiXhosa and/or Afrikaans
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice
- Good computing skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, Internet)
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong interest in research and self-drive to work in a research environment
- Availability to work after hours and on weekends
Advantages:

- Experience on Siemens platforms
- Previous clinical trial and/or research experience
- Demonstrated evidence of attention to detail

The annual cost of employment, including benefits, is R 513 345 and R 603 933.
